Tonight is the 3rd week of Survivor: South Pacific..

Hello again! Tonight will be the third week of Survivor: South Pacific. In last week's episode Christine from Upolu was sent packing to Redemption Island. Brandon, the nephew of the greatest player to never win Survivor, tried to get Mikayla voted out but failed. Brandon seems to have a thing for Mikayla and doesn't want her around because he has a hard time keeping his eyes to himself. He is after all.. a married man. This is the part of the show that aggravates me..putting a 19 year old child on the show must be a ploy for ratings from a younger generation because i'm only 25 and I can't stand this kid. Anyways that is the only recap i'm really going to do. The Amazing Race started on Sunday this past week which was a thriller for me. I'm a "TAR" fan and frequently live tweet during the show. Being a big "Rachel Reilly" fan I was drawn towards rooting for the Vegas team, Kaylani and Lisa. Kaylani is a friend of Rachel's and she showed her support on twitter Sunday evening which was nice. The show started off with Team Vegas not doing too well. It is impossible to get to China when you lose your passport. Fortunatly someone found the passport and brought it to the airport after realizing a "TAR" team had lost it and would need it to compete in the race. Even with that huge set back Team Vegas was able to get back into the race and didn't even come in last. Bill and Cathi who are retired and are now farmer/ranchers in Oregon ended up overlooking a huge clue which caused them to be the last team to check in. They were not eliminated but were told they would face a hazard penalty and that the next leg of the race would be a double elimination leg. The team was tired but happy they were able to keep competing. Out of all the teams my favorite so far is Team Vegas but I also like Ron and Bill. I won't go through and name off all the teams because those of you reading this have probably seen the episode and can't remember them all..just like me. :)

'Til next time! Thanks for reading!!!!!!

Survivor: South Pacific Season 23 Episode 1

This blog does contain spoilers!

Yep..Survivor is back for a whopping 23rd season and this time they are in the South Pacific. I am a little bit shocked at how tired of this game I already am but then I remember that at least there IS a show to watch now that Big Brother is over for the season. For those of you that need a reminder or just want to scream and shout it: Rachel Reilly won the 13th season of Big Brother by a vote of 4 to 3 against Porsche Briggs. Rachel was my personal favorite so I'm happy that she won!

*cue cat ladies*

Anyways, back to Survivor. For anyone that doesn't know last Wednesday the first episode of the season aired in which players were told that this would be another Redemption Island game and two past players would be returning. Ozzy (Survivor: Cook Islands & Survivor: Micronesia) and Coach (Survivor: Tocantins & Survivor: Heroes VS Villains) battled for extra food and flint for their teams. Ozzy was able to complete his puzzle first and his team happily welcomed him to their tribe; however, Coach was not welcomed with open arms and his first moments with his tribe were as Daniele Donato (Big Brother 8 & 13) would put it: "Awkward." The orangeish tribe called "Savii" is where Ozzy is home to while the blue tribe called "Upulo" is where Coach was placed. Don't ask me to name names already. I only know a few of the new tribe members one being Jim from Savii who told his team he was a teacher but he actually owns medical marijuana distribution centers. (LOL!) oh..and lets not even get started on John "Cochran" who asked Jeff Probst in the beginning of the show to call him by his last name because he states Jeff has always called great players by their last name, not their first. Cochran states he will live up to it; however, he was nearly eliminated during the first tribal counsel against Semhar. Savii lost the immunity challenge and some blamed Semhar because she said she could "do it" but got tired very quickly. Semhar was the first person voted out of Survivor: South Pacific. Semhar isn't out of the game for good yet. She will live in Redemption Island until she battles head to head to get back into the game. Lets back track because during the beginning of the show it seemed that Savii would be the better team and have a great start considering they got FREE FIRE but most of them went swimming and never bothered to set up camp. Ozzy who is known for being an awesome fisherman and huge contributor around camp basically had everyone procrastinating. Meanwhile, Upulo was hard at work on the blue tribe. They built shelter and everything during their first night and ended up winning the immunity challenge. The team isn't necesarily being led by Coach but he does seem to bring a good vibe to the tribe. I'm surprised at myself because I have never been a "Coach" fan. This time he seems to be different. We'll see.

Until next time......
